On October 14, 2020, Huawei, Guizhou Unicom, and Guizhou Tire Factory officially reached a project cooperation and commercial agreement. They will work together to build a customized 5G industrial park private network to lay the foundation for the realization of a 5G fully connected factory in the future.

　　In Guizhou Tire’s 5G park private network construction plan, firstly based on 5G wireless access technology, it solves the problems of long delay, instability, and flashing of the original industrial WiFi, and realizes the cloud-based coordinated scheduling of all AGVs in the factory area, and improves business flexibility and reduces network construction costs. Secondly, through the establishment of an edge computing (MEC) platform, the seamless connection between the 5G network and the park's intelligent production system is realized, and an edge cloud platform is built for the subsequent deployment of more intelligent applications to support the continuous intelligent upgrade of AGV. In addition, Huawei and China Unicom Guizhou have jointly tackled key problems and solved the difficulty of adapting imported AGV equipment to 5G industrial gateways, and truly realized the large-scale commercial use of 5G AGVs, which was highly recognized by customers.
