In recent years, trade and technical barriers to China's tires are increasing, and China's own labeling law has also been published, which is going to be implemented in the whole country, future demand for testing platform will become increasing. However, China tire industry has no professional large-scale outdoor test field, many performance tests are carried out overseas, long cycle, high cost, and not conducive to the core technology secret.

　　2012, Linglong Group invested nearly 1.2 billion yuan to start the tire test field project, equipped with the international advanced level of the experimental testing equipment, built about 16 tires test runway ,such as a high-speed ring road, noise test runway, dynamic square and so on. The 16 tires test runway including cars, light trucks, trucks and buses, field testing and laboratory experiment can be carried out more than 40 performance  indicators, including economy, comfort and so on. Years can test tire 2847 times, about 6.9 million km.

　　Test field was built by IDIADA which is the Spain professional testing and design company, also responsible for guidance construction and supervision, combined with Japan and South Korea and other countries in the construction of experimental field experience. Now it had the largest number of testing items, the most complete runway test platform. Linglong group in July 2014 signed a cooperation agreement with Spanish IDIADA, establish the third party company that wholly responsible for the management. The test field reached cooperation intention with BMW, TOYOTA, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Kumho, HANKOOK and other more than 30 world famous automobile factor. The tire factory and the national tire testing center will to make full use of this specialized platform after the test site is completed , and full range of strategic cooperation.
