It is reported that the Hainan will build 5600 square kilometers natural rubber production reserve. In the second half of 2017, they will set up a pilot program in key cities and counties and plan to do a full set of work in 2018. 　　At the same time, the agriculture department of Hainan province also required to steadily promote the construction of 4 million mu core rubber plantation. At the end of 2016, the provincial department of agriculture has submitted relevant recommendations to the ministry of agriculture. It is reported that the 2 million mu core rubber plantation of Hainan Rubber Group has been listed in the first batch of construction plan by the ministry of agriculture. In the face of the unfavorable situation of natural rubber’s price, the finance of Hainan province has been increasing the support of natural rubber base construction. In 2014-2016, the implementation of rubber base construction funds were 47.4 million yuan, 71.11 million yuan, 84.28 million yuan respectively.
　　Hainan provincial agriculture department said that they will continue to cooperate with the relevant provincial departments to fight for central infrastructure funds, focusing on supporting construction of 4 million mu core rubber plantation and 8.4 million mu rubber production protected zone, to further improve the province's natural rubber planting conditions and the competitiveness of the rubber industry.
