In recent days, FAW PLATE Group and Huagong Group officially signed a contract with Shenbei New District Government. They will cooperate in investing in the “New Energy Vehicle Core Components Industrial Base” project in Shenbei New District. The project plans to occupy an area of 348666 sqm and a total planned investment of 6.3 billion yuan. 

　　After the project is put into production, the annual output value is estimated to be 20 billion yuan, and the annual tax contribution is estimated to be 850 million yuan. The project will provide core components and parts for Brilliance, FAW, Second Automobile, BAIC, GAC, Chery, Nanjing Iveco, Geely, Guoxuan Hi-Tech and other automotive manufacturers. It is expected to occupy 10%-15% market share of the China's new energy vehicles core components in the future. In addition to direct benefits, the project can also promote the development of the local new energy automobile supporting industrial chain, which is expected to indirectly bring in billions of output value.
　　The project is scheduled to start construction in 2018 and will be completed and put into use in 2020.
