On May 19th, China and the United States issued a joint statement on bilateral economic and trade consultations.

　　On April 3 United States trade representative's office issued a list that Chinese imported products recommended for tariff. It contained a variety of tire products.
　　The sino-american trade war stalled,which means that China's tire products which originally needed 25% additional tariffs would probably not be subject to high tariffs.
　　China and the United States joint statement said the two sides agreed to take effective measures to substantially reduce the trade deficit with the United States and China. China will increase a large amount of goods and services purchased from the United States.
