According to statistics of the survey, conducted jointly by National Machinery Information Center of R&P Industry and the magazine houses for China Rubber/Plastics Technology and Equipment and Rubber Plastics Intelligent Manufacturing and Envprotection to include nearly one hundred main rubber enterprises and related manufacturing enterprise, China's rubber machinery industry was seriously affected by a significant overall decline of tire section in 2016. The annual industry sales saw a big decline from 2015. The sales revenue of China rubber machines were less than 8 billion yuan with the year-on-year drop by almost 20% according to incomplete statistics. In view of the world rubber business, China's tire industry situation in 2016 and individual rubber machine enterprise operating status early this year, China’s rubber machine industry development prospect for 2017 is not optimistic. Followed is the list of top 20 rubber machine enterprises involved in this survey (Table 1 ) .
3 major features are present, based on the summary of rubber machine industry throughout 2016:
1. Transformation and upgradation, structural adjustment, energy conservation and environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing and development have become mainstream and popular nowadays;
2. Enterprises accelerate the upgrading renovation on traditional rubber machine products. Developing specialized high-end products have become a trend among enterprises which seek actively interdisciplinary approaches, research for new products and focus on adjustment.
3. Accelerating to develop the international market and embracing “One Belt and One Road” have become the weather vane for China’s rubber machinery industry.
