On March 1, the ACTR project, a joint venture between Sailun Group and Cooper Tire Company, was broken ground in Vietnam. 　　ACTR is another new achievement in the preliminary cooperation between Sailun Group and Cooper Tire. It will further optimize the overseas production capacity of Sailun Group, promote business expansion in overseas markets and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the brand.
　　It is understood that in December 2018, Sailun and Cooper decided to establish a joint venture company in Vietnam to build an annual production capacity of 2.4 million all-steel radial tire production lines. In this joint venture, the company holds a 65% stake and Cooper holds a 35% stake. According to the plan, the new project will be put into operation in the first half of 2020.
　　The Sailing Group believes that the cooperation with Cooper Tire will help to improve the technical level and brand influence; increase the production scale of the Vietnam base, and more effectively respond to international trade barriers.
