On the ongoing meeting of NPC and CPPCC ("two sessions"), Mr. Yuan Zhongxue, the National People's Congress (NPC) representative and the director of the national rubber and tire engineering technology research center, submitted a proposal closely associated with the industry: Suggestion on accelerating the application of RFID technology in tire products.
A tire, with addition of a chip worth just a few Yuan, can be accessed and processed for its information of product quality and use on the road to ensure both tire quality and traffic safety. This is RFID to identify the electronic label in tires.
It is understood that China has successfully developed this type of electronic label with MESNAC as the main body in Qingdao and successfully has tapped into the international market.
