On December 9th, Dalian Rubber & Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd. developed a large continuous mixing extrusion granulation unit with an annual output of 300,000 to 350,000 tons, and successfully passed the R & D and application results identification organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation in Beijing.
　　The appraisal committee is composed of 14 experts from China General Machinery Industry Association, China Plastic Machinery Industry Association, South China University of Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Petrochemical Design Institute and users. The appraisal committee listened to the project team's technical summary report, new report, field test report, user usage and other reports, and reviewed related technical documents.After questioning, answering questions and discussions, the appraisal committee agreed that the achievement has independent intellectual property rights, broke foreign technology blockades and market monopolies, and the overall technology reached the international advanced level.Among them, the technology of continuous mixing of double-supported rotors and underwater granulation ranks internationally leading; the results have significant economic and social benefits.
　　The unit is the largest polyethylene extruding granulator in China at present. In the development process, it has overcome such technical and technological problems as rotor anti-alternating load, axle shell melt self-lubrication, processing of large complicated rotor and cylinder, surface strengthening and heat treatment, etc. Intelligent control systems such as on-line monitoring, fault diagnosis, predictive maintenance and one-button start up have been developed, providing technical support for the long period stable operation of the unit. The unit has won 17 invention patents and 12 utility model patents; it has formulated 2 national standards and 2 industry standards.
