China's research team made a major breakthrough in research of polybutene alloy in reactor, and developed new material polybutylene alloy resin PB-A for floor heating pipes, which broke the long-term monopoly and blockage of foreign technology in this field.
The traditional PB pipes crystallization time is slow and take 7-10 days. With the new technology, new material PB-A can be used in only 3-5 days and the time is shortened by 57%, which greatly improves the cycle time of processing and forming.
According to researchers, PB-A has a wide range of raw material applications. It can be used in PP modification to increase toughness and improve its impact strength; in the traditional TPE application field, it can replace PVC to make sheets and tubes without plasticizers to obtain the required flexibility, so that the safety problem of the vinyl chloride caused by the addition of the plasticized PVC and the harm health problem caused by the addition of the plasticizer can be avoided.
