Cabot Corp. has completed two expansion projects, which will increase the global footprint of carbon black masterbatch and compounds.　
　　Cabot said the company achieved part of this expansion through the acquisition of Tech Blend. Tech Blend is North America's leading producer of carbon black masterbatch products,which will operate as Cabot Plastics Canada.
　　In addition, Cabot added a new production line in his manufacturing plant in Perpentil, Belgium.
The new production line will increase the production capacity of plastic formulations, including conductive and engineering thermoplastic formulations.
　　The company added: "with additional capacity, Perpentil Plant is the largest chromophore and compound manufacturing plant of all the Cabot's sites."
