On September 18, Sinopec high-gloss impact polypropylene was successfully produced in Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Industry.　
　　High-gloss impact resistant polypropylene is mainly used in the field of injection molding. It can be used as a raw material for household appliances such as washing machines and microwave ovens, as well as automotive interior parts and toys. It is characterized by excellent gloss index and greatly improves the aesthetics of the product.
　　Zhenhai Refinery works in close cooperation with Beijing Chemical Industry Research Institute, through in-depth study of the microstructure and properties of polypropylene products, overcoming the key technical problems of improving the gloss of impact resistant polypropylene, and produced high gloss resistant polypropylene by hydrogen modulation.
