On October 16, PolyOne announced the opening of a new and state-of-the-art thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) line at its plant in Pune, India. In addition, the company has opened a new technology center that will provide advanced laboratories for existing and new R&D activities.　 　　This highly automated dedicated TPE line is the first of its kind in India and is designed to produce GLS™ TPEs to maintain the highest level of material quality.
　　Compared to imports, local material supply not only shortens delivery times, but also enhances the collaborative capabilities of custom formulations. The new TPE production line and technology center are equipped with highly skilled and professional staff.
