DuPont is investing more than $80 million to build a manufacturing plant in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, Eastern China. The project is expected to be put into operation in 2020, and the expansion work will extend to 2023. 
  Located in Yangtze River International Chemical Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province, the production base will support the growing demand for professional materials for DuPont Transportation and Advanced Polymer (T&AP) business. Investment in new composite production lines will mainly focus on DuPont Zytel polyamide (PA) engineering plastics, Delrin acetal (POM) resin, Hytrel thermoplastic polyester, Multibase thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), lubricants and special silicone resin materials. The plant plans to install a new automotive adhesive line and produce more specialty products in the future, making it the first multi-service manufacturing facility in DuPont in China.
